What is junk food?
Junk food means foods that have no nutritional value. Therefore, these types of food include cold drinks, sandwiches, oily foods, sausages, bakery items, and candies. Junk food contains a lot of fat, salt, and calories. However, increasing fast food consumption reduces the body’s dietary intake, resulting in a lack of basic nutrients and rendering you vulnerable to health issues. In other words, junk foods wreak havoc on your development and growth. Foods that are responsible for pleasing the taste buds can have negative health consequences. That is to say, junk food intake on a regular basis will take a toll on your body and cause irreversible harm. Regularly consuming junk food increases the risk of heart disease, which has a knock-on effect on your brain, making it weaker and unstable.

Memory Loss: In conclusion, it was discovered in a study that people who consumed fast food performed poorly in cognitive tests. Your memory is harmed when your brain weakens. The Hippocampus is a part of our brain that controls memory and recognition. Junk food consumption damages the hippocampus and causes inflammation.
